Anna Neborová graduated from the Fine Arts Academy in Prague, painting studio of Bedřich Dlouhý and Jiří Sopko. She focuses on illustrations since the start of the century. Her debut The Little Red Man (2002) succeeded in the annual Most Beautiful Czech Books prizes and was also awarded the Golden Ribbon and included in the White Raven Munich selection. Neborová also fared successfully with her original book project entitled Oscar & Mimi (2004), a tale about a little girl and a self-confident dog who has left his previous owner with whom he had not been satisfied. Three years ago she also illustrated a primer for Fraus publishers.
